I had hoped to be done with the first draft of Divine Retribution before I left for South Dakota, but alas, I came up short. I expect I’ll finish the first draft by the end of this week. Which means the hard work of re-reading, rewriting, and editing awaits. Plus feedback from my beta readers,
I spent the week leading up to Memorial Day working on our latest yard project. Since we moved into the house going on nearly 4 years now, we wanted to replace most of the front grass with more waterwise plants, shrubs, and mulch. In this latest section, we had 300 square feet of sod removed.

I hope everyone had a marvelous Christmas. I spent a quiet holiday weekend with the family, staying warm by our electric fireplace, all of us enjoying many holiday movies. My personal favorite is National Lampoon’s Christman Vacation. With some of the scenes filmed here in Colorado. A movie that never fails to make me laugh.
